Lincoln Diner in Gettysburg
In 1800, Adams County was formed from part of nearby York County. Although the city of Gettysburg is famous as a civil war battle site and address given by President Abraham Lincoln, the city also is host to the county seat. Adams County is filled with acres of orchards fortifying it as the largest producer of apples in the state.

Adams County OrchardsTourists will find numerous attractions to see including wonderful antique districts, historical sites, unique shops, and abundant orchards lining the countryside. A tour through this county is a must.
